We started this agency with one simple belief: families know best. Too often, we've seen caregivers undervalued and families overwhelmed by red tape. So we decided to do something about it.

Deserved Family Care exists to put the power and the pay back into the hands of families. By using technology, reducing overhead and digitizing the process, we pass more Medicaid dollars directly to the people doing the real work: Family Caregivers.

What we look for to make sure we're the right fit for you
1. Are You Eligible?
Individuals must be approved and enrolled in an ODP waiver (P/FDS, CLW, or Consolidated) or the ODP Base Program
2. Are You Connected?
Care Teams need modern smartphones with a data plan and must be comfortable using basic apps. Teams must also be comfortable reviewing shift details digitally via smartphone or computer.
3. Can You Choose the Caregivers?
We trust your instincts and work with you to find the best fit for your family. Our agency empowers families to find and manage caregivers they trust including relatives, friends, neighbors or trusted support providers.

Highest Rates
We pay all IHCS caregivers $31/hr, the highest rate in Pennsylvania, from day one. No tiers, no waiting. Just fair pay for the important care provided to our Clients.
Full Control
At Deserved Family Care, all Guardians can be the Caregiver, build bigger teams, control the care schedule and work with our Agency, not against us.
Weekly Pay & Benefits
We pay Care Teams every week; no delays, no guesswork. We also offer benefits such as sick pay

How it Works
Choose Your Caregivers
You decide who provides care—whether it’s you, a family member, a trusted friend, or someone from your community. There’s no assigned staff or rotating strangers. You choose the people who understand your loved one best including backup caregivers in a pinch.
We Handle the Setup
From background checks to state-required training, we take care of every onboarding step. We ensure all caregivers meet Pennsylvania's ODP program requirements, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or Medicaid compliance. Our support staff is always here to keep you on track and in good standing.

You create a schedule that fits your life. Need care in the mornings? Weekends? Just a few hours a day? We're here and connected. Guardian Caregivers
We believe parents are the best caregivers for their children. We’re actively onboarding families approved for ODP services and stand with those still waiting and advocating. We have no Managing Employee restrictions, so nobody is prevented from providing paid support.
